As the saying goes "There's no such thing as bad weather in the Highlands - just the wrong clothing". Bad weather or good, the weather in the Highlands around Ullapool is notoriously unpredictable and changeable (beautifully so for the landscape photographer), and I'm often out in it!

Thankfully, I am able to venture forth into our local hills (the last great wilderness in Europe) fully prepared with clothing and equipment from Ullapool Outdoors.
