Crystal clear on Christmas Eve in Assynt & Inverpollaidh, at the end of an afternoon when the mercury had stubbornly remained below -5 degrees celsius. The final pink/orange glow of sunset paints a scene of  unimaginable beauty on the frozen slopes of Suilven, in this view from the Achnahaird - Altandhu road. The last Achnahaird croft house is just visible in the foreground right.
